“It was our tenth wedding anniversary so I went for a suite which had a terrace and a jacuzzi tub. As it turned out, our room was on two floors so we could really spread out. The main floor had a large seating area wth large TV and a small dining style table which was good for catching up on computer work. The WIFI was excellent. Also, Bueno Aires can get very hot this time of year. The room had great blackout curtains that kept the air conditioning in and the heat out.” It was our tenth wedding anniversary so I went for a suite which had a terrace and a jacuzzi tub. Cool gay hotels in Buenos Aires

This "little palace" absolutely lives up to its name . Gilles has made this place gorgeous and charming in every detail from the mosaic glass windows in the room to the terrace upstairs for guests to use thats tranquil and filled with beautiful plants and succulents. My room was spacious and lovely, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, mostly homemade, and HEALTHY. Gilles makes his own yogurt (Im now inspired to do the same), jams (very fun flavors), bread (good texture and love the seeds), fresh squeezed orange juice, and will scramble eggs for you. Very good coffee as well which is hard up find in Argentina. He also has three adorable cats who love people and will gladly accept belly rubs and scratches. The place is extremely clean, feels very homey, and I wish I could have spent half a day just reading on the terrace. The place is located in a great area of Palermo thats just quiet enough but still close to lots of good restaurants and the subway/ plenty of buses. Gilles also has plenty of great restaurant recommendations for the area and will give you a safety orientation when you arrive so you know which areas to stay out of. Hes also a great guy to talk to if you have the chance and extremely hospitable! Staying at Le Petit Palais was an incredible experience and made me wish I had more nights in Buenos Aires! “The homemade breakfast was a delight. Gilles the owner, gave excellent advice about Buenos Aires and was a great host. The carefully designed interior provided a cosy atmosphere, which made Le Petit Palais the perfect spot to return to after a long hot night or day of exploring Buenos Aires. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit Buenos Aires.” “Gilles is a great host. He has excellent knowledge of Buenos Aires and his breakfasts are really great with delicious home made yogurt, eggs and the best medialunas (sweet croissants). Rooms are simple but comfortable, this is a guest house so that was completely fine.” Comfortable rooms with chic decor free Wi-Fi are offered in Buenos Aires only a 7 blocks from Alto Palermo Shopping Mall. Recoleta Cemetery is a 15-minute drive. A daily continental breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. The homemade breakfast was a delight. Romance is everywhere in Buenos Aires. The Porteños (local folk of the big capital city) are extremely passionate – and boy do they know how to celebrate being in love. … Read more There are many gay clubs in Santiago. Just like the gay scene of Buenos Aires, Lima and Montevideo, youd be wise to factor in a dolly nap as these places dont get busy until well after midnight. Puerto Madryn is not a party destination. Youre better off staying in Buenos Aires if thats what you want. However, there are a few gay friendly bars and clubs recommended to us by LGBT locals. It is also worth noting that the promenade along the beach is where we saw a lot of gay boys hanging out. Just be warned, this is not the place to come if you want big gay parties – stay in Buenos Aires for that. Puerto Madryn is where you should come if you want to embrace wildlife and nature. Whilst Puerto Madryn doesnt have a large gay scene like in Buenos Aires, there are a handful of gay friendly hangouts. Its also super chilled here, with a large gay Porteño community who wanted to move away from the big capital city to be closer to nature. Its around 3-4 hours drive from the big capital city or 4-5 hours by bus, making it the ideal weekend getaway from Buenos Aires, or a nice way to cut the journey if youre heading West to Córdoba or Mendoza.

Córdoba is located in the centre of Argentina, around 700km (435 miles) Northwest of Buenos Aires. It is surrounded by picturesque valleys and mountains, called the Sierras de Córdoba, ideal for us adventure seeking nature lovers. This has nothing to do with the Catholic Church or with the fact that the current Pope is from Buenos Aires. Even stronger than Catholicism is the Argentinians love for football. Nothing quite ignites the Argentinian passion, or so dramatically unites the country than a big soccer match – particularly with main rivals Brazil. # I have died, every day, waiting for you… Darling, dont be afraid, I have loved you… For a thousand years… Ill love you for a thousand more # Queer Tango lessons in Buenos Aires are a must for all gay travellers to the country – one of the most romantic things weve done ? We took a queer tango class in Buenos Aires which was one of our favourite memories from our travels in Argentina. It is not only a romantic way to express the passion and fire with your (same sex) partner, but a true representation of the Argentinian spirit; which is why we love them! Opinions about where you can try the best helado in Argentina varies with immense volatility. The Porteños will say its in Buenos Aires, the Rosarians will swear its in Rosario, the Cordobeses will have you believe its in Córdoba etc…! The milanesa a la napolitana takes it to a whole new level, coating the end product with tomato sauce, mozzarella and ham. It was named after the restaurant Nápoli in Buenos Aires where it was created in the late 1940s and has now become one of the most popular Argentinian snacks.
